Backpack Lanka Hostel - Colombo

My partner and I had a short stay at this budget-friendly hotel. The Double Room with Shared Shower and Toilet was clean and well-maintained. The A/C worked perfectly with no noise disturbance. The staff was friendly and provided us with towels and linens. The location is extremely convenient, right in front of Liberty Plaza Kollupitiya, with bus stops and various shops nearby. a great value for money and highly recommended.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were cozy and had enough space, with lockable wardrobes and drawers. The air conditioning worked well, and the common toilets and showers were clean. The common area had useful information about the area, and we could stay there even after checking out. Meeting other travelers was easy, and there was free drinking water and a pool table. The Wi-Fi in the common area was reliable. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great value for money. highly recommended for a pleasant stay.

The double room at Backpack Lanka-Central Colombo was a cozy haven for our family. With a private bathroom and free WiFi, we felt comfortable and connected. The communal kitchens made mealtime a breeze, and the daily housekeeping ensured a tidy space. It was perfect for our laid-back vibe.

Personally, we didn't fancy the bidet in the private bathroom, but others might appreciate it.

The room we stayed in did not have a window, which made it feel a bit stuffy and lacking in fresh air. the shared bathroom facilities were also not up to standard, as they were dirty and in need of regular cleaning.

I always return to this place because the staff helped me find my earphones once. It has everything I need: Wi-Fi, kitchen, AC, bar, restaurant, TV room. Can't wait to come back this weekend!
